The games children play.

Finally caught "The Orphanage" at The Cathay this afternoon with Rion. Although the movie was not as scary as I had expected it to be, the story, however, still lingers in my mind. Superb acting aside, the ending packs such an emotional wallop, that it caught me by surprise. I was not expecting the final few sequences to be something as poignant, and as heartfelt. One of the better, if not more worthwhile, movies I have seen this year.

The movie also managed to achieve the following two things:
One: I dread children now. All kids appear kinda warped to me after the show.
Two: I can't shake off that image of a certain car accident in the movie. That fat tongue... That slack jaw... Those eyes! Yikes!

Also, those schoolgirls who squealed and screamed at every single moment of the show, can you please eliminate/terminate/exterminate yourselves? Maybe die in fright at your own faces? Fucking annoying...

Lastly, I would like to voice out my disappointment at the supposedly "tasty" snack called Cheetos. I had the privilege to try one packet today, and it tasted like tougher, larger hybrids of twisties. Even the cheesy flavoring is really similar and comparable to some other 50 cents snack that I buy all the time from Carrefour. Well, this only goes to show that I'm a sucker for great advertising.
