One freaking long, but fruitful sunday!

Wow, I'm feeling totally wasted at this moment, as I blog and munch on homemade Chicken Rice. I did many things, and went to many places, accompanied by my closest friends. Let me do a recap on the events that happened...

Phew! After an 3hours long wait, I finally bought my first IPhone from the Singtel launch held over the weekend. Luckily for me, I had Jervin to accompany me for the entire duration, else I think I would have broken down from sheer boredom and tiredness.

During the queue, they made us don this wristband thingy, which reminded me of something patients wear at hospitals. It didn't serve much purpose in the end though, so I think its mainly to deter people from cutting queues... Anyway, im still fiddling around with my new shiny phone, and am trying to get use to the new system. But I am loving it already.

Right after I was finished with my business with Singtel, we met up with Daniel and had lunch at PS. I think the three of us were really famished as none of us have had our breakfast yet. Like hungry ghosts, we gobbled down our grilled chicken sets with much ferocity.

Then, I hurried over to my workplace, carrying with me a cake and presents, to spring a surprise on my colleague/good friend Zyra, who was having her birthday.

Zyra, looking so pretty with her pressie and delicious cake.

The gang from work, although not complete. My manager can be spotted from the mirror reflection at the top of the picture. Hahahaz...

^ Some more pictures of us acting weird around the birthday princess. Haha..

Right after the party was over, I had to rush back to The Cathay to meet up with Daniel and Jervin to catch the 5pm show, Haunting In Connecticut. Something peculiar happened during the screening of the movie; apparently someone screwed up and screened Transformers instead of the movie we paid for! Wow, the scene was pretty "drama" as everyone in the theatre was standing up and walking out, carrying with them pitchforks and burning torches, ready to slay the Cathay Management.

Luckily though, the movie commenced in about 10 minutes, and we even received an apology from one the staff working there. I would have demanded for free drinks if i had been sitting nearer to the fellow though. But all in all, Haunting in Connecticut is a pretty scary movie. It's worth checking out if you need a "better than average" horror fix for the weekend.

After the movie, the three of us hopped over to the Ichiban Boshi outlet at Centrepoint for dinner. We ordered enough food for three really fat people, just take a look at the pics!

^ Jervin's.

^ Daniel's. (Wow! SO much!)

^ Mine. (Kinda lackluster though. I find that the Udon was too cold for my liking.)

^ Daniel with his tissue paper.

^ Me and Jervin.

Phew! Finally reached the end of tonight's post. I really, really enjoyed the day, even though running around and queuing for 3 hours can really made me feel so worn out. It's the realization that I have such great friends, that makes me feel so fortunate and really glad. I wanna hang out like today again soon!
