Slumdog Millionaire is the Best Picture of 2008!

Finally, Oscars didn't disappoint me this year!! I hated Crash for winning best picture against the hot favorite Brokeback Mountain, but if Benjamin Button had won the best picture this time around, I would seriously doubt the sanity of the Oscar judges...

Three Cheers for a deserving win, what with a grand total of 8 awards, including best song! It truly is a happy ending through and through for Slumdog Millionaire...

Slumdog Millionaire!!

Haha, I just caught this splendid movie this afternoon with Nicholas, and I was genuinely touched by it. I kinda felt that its more superior than benjamin button in the sense that it did not felt as draggy and long. Plus it had a lot more emotional "punch" to the ending, which I really love.

And, I'm really sorry to make you cry today. I hope you will feel better soon.. =(

February 14th just flew by in an instance, as with all good times eh? I made my usual pie for my date, but it completely crumbled to pieces when i received my gift. It just looked so much more attractive than my lousy wrapping. I am really touched by the effort and time put into the whole packaging, and what's more, I actually received a rose for the first time sia! Hahhaaha....




Anyway, I really enjoyed myself tremendously hanging out last night, as I have not felt this way towards someone in a while... But I can tell that a part of me still feels very wary and overwhelmed by it all.. I have no idea that the scars left by the past are still able to affect me this much for so long.. Hmm.... I shall take baby steps this time around and see what happens.

Feb is here, bringing along with it the flavor of valentine's and explicit sex.

Haha.. My mind has been fluttering lately. Not sure if it's under the influence of the impending Valentine's day or what, but I am kinda looking forward to it and am feeling slightly positive about it. I have been thinking about a couple of possibilities, but am somehow or another finding myself drawn to one of them.

Well, this time around I'm gonna just take the backseat and see where i end up instead. Plus, I have to focus on getting another job as soon as possible too.

I hope things will only get more interesting from here on. =)
